Belknap White Group’s September Customer Events were Above Par

MANSFIELD, MASSACHUSETTS – The Belknap White Group (BWG), one of America’s leading full-service flooring distributors, hosted a high-energy Open House on September 11th at its Rochester, New York Solution Center.

Thirteen top suppliers demonstrated products and offered tips to the event’s 85 guests. This very informative and enjoyable evening offered the latest in flooring design ideas, new and exciting materials, finishing touches and installation products. Educational, hands-on demonstrations included a new tools and a ceramic/shower installation segment.

“This event is held every year, and this was our biggest turnout yet,” stated Mike Maslyn, BWG’s Branch Manager of the Rochester Division. “We had quite a few new customers attend… and, it was the biggest vendor participation we’ve ever had.”

With momentum high, The Belknap White Group’s 38th Annual Golf Outing was held the following day, September 12th at the Victor Hills Golf Club in Victor, NY. By all accounts, it too was an absolute success.

Mother Nature served up a great day for guests to both golf and mingle with colleagues, BWG representatives and suppliers.  The tournament saw 20 teams participate in the four-person scramble, and a two-way tie for first place; the tie breaker being decided by the 8th Hole score for both teams.

“All of our vendors supported us equally,” exclaimed Maslyn regarding the week’s events. “The many door prizes, which were generously donated by our vendors, were well received. Without their support combined with the precise planning from the Victor Hills Golf Club staff, our event could not have been more successful.”

“It was great to meet firsthand with our customers offsite, while they were removed from their rigorous daily demands,” noted BWG’s Vice President-Branch Sales & Operations (Mansfield, MA), Dan Doyle. “That, coupled with our meals and contests, made for an instructive, but very fun and relaxing afternoon,” he concluded.
